To Do: see the White House replica, Kennedy and Jacqueline

handwritten notes, Nov 22, 1963 room & walk outside to the waterfront

Optional Reading: Even if you are not a fan of America’s youngest president, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, or don’t know much about him (I, personally, first knew of him as president who won the election because lots of American women thought he was handsome so they voted for him) then be there for the beauty of this place. You might also learned a lot about this fellow Bostonian while you are there. For example: did you know he was born right in the suburb of Boston and attended Harvard University? His six-room simple home is open to public from May 28 to September 28 Wednesday to Sunday 10:30-4:30 pm. Adults $3 Children 17 & under free Take the subway’s green line to Coolidge Corner. Walk to 83 Beals Street (617)566-7937 www.nps.gov/jofi/ JFK is also the one who gave the famous speech, “And so, my fellow Americans: Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country…” He served exactly 1,000 days in office. And according to his mother he was a “problem child” forgetful and lazy in school but that didn’t stop him from becoming Massachusetts’ House of Representatives, Senator , President of the United States and Pulitzer Prize winner for his book “Profiles in Courage.”
